Israel Beyond the Headlines (IBH)

Israel Beyond the Headlines is an initiaitve that seeks to prepare, empower, and inspire students and professionals from around the world through two special hands-on programs in Israel: Coexistence in the Middle East and InnovNation. IBH programs offer access to the people, organizations and facts behind the issues and breakthroughs of the upmost relevance in the future of different professional fields and carriers.

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is rated among the 100 best universities in the world and six of its faculty members and alumni have been awarded the Nobel Prize in the last 5 years. Founded in 1925 by such personalities as Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud, the University is today an example of successful coexistence, where faculty members and the student population coming from various religions, races, and ethnical origins collaborate together to contribute to human knowledge.

The Rothberg International School (RIS) of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is responsible for international students at the University.

The International Institute is a non profit organization and an independent academic center. It was founded in 1958 with a vision of improving socio-economic conditions in developing communities, and of strengthening co-existence between nations by emphasizing tolerance, pluralism, and the promotion of human rights.

The International Institute has more than 50,000 Alumni from over 140 countries. Many of whom have reached key leadership positions in their native countries and have contributed to improve relations with Israel.

The Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel www.icci.co.il

The ICCI is an interreligious organization established in January 1991 with the mission to harness the teachings and values of the three monotheistic religions into sources of reconciliation and peaceful coexistence, based on the understanding that religions should not be part of the problem, but rather can be part of the solution.

The ICCI comprises more than 60 Christian, Palestinian/Muslim, and Jewish institutions, including Jewish-Arab coexistence organizations, museums, universities, and other inter-religious organizations. ICCI also serves as the Israeli chapter of the World Conference of Religions for Peace (WCRP) and as one of the Israeli members of the International Council of Christians and Jews (ICCJ).
